Daimbert hasn't messed up this badly since all that embarrassment with the frogs in wizards' school.
At first it seems simple--a girl has disappeared up into the mountains, and Daimbert has to find her. But soon he discovers that the mountains are more than they appear, and that he may be trapped in old legends about to come to life. To make it worse, the heir to the throne is missing too.
And then there's the kobold.
This novella (short novel) is intended both to introduce new readers to the Royal Wizard of Yurt series and (I hope!) to give reading enjoyment to old friends.
